We’ve all experienced that painful event that changed our lives completely, that event that contracted us inside, that shrunk our inner world, hurt us, and made life different— but not in a good way.
Or maybe it wasn’t a single event; perhaps it was a period of time, or a series of events piling up one after another, but the result was the same:
We feel smaller, closed off inside ourselves, anxious and insecure, with much less joy, peace, freedom of expression, and happiness in our lives.
We’re used to seeing ourselves as victims of these events and giving them control over our lives.
But in The Gift of Trauma course, I want us to view this differently.
I want us to discover our traumas as our greatest gifts, within which lies a deep treasure.
A treasure meant to teach us important lessons about why we came here, the gifts we have to offer the world, and how to truly live a meaningful life.
And that’s what we will do in this course— learn how to heal from our traumas, discover the treasure within, and finally enjoy life.
What is the essence of The Gift of Trauma process?
- Understand the root of the patterns and pain driving our lives, and the steps to heal them.
- Discover self-compassion.
- Be in a group and safe, intimate space where we feel free to be our true selves, within a loving and accepting environment without conditions. A space where deep conversations happen, where we connect heart to heart, laugh, and cry without being judged or “fixed” because we feel loved.
- Learn how to heal our pain and find love and freedom on the other side.
- Understand the gifts we came to uniquely offer to the world, gifts which cannot be separated from our pain.
- Find the source of happiness within, understand how to move through our emotional wounds to reconnect to the joy and love that lie deep inside, and thus return to the sense of freedom and happiness we had as children.
Week 1: Creating A Safe Space In The Group And Connecting To Love:
In our first meeting, we will establish a safe space in the group and discuss the principles that will ensure a secure, ethical foundation for our journey. This foundation will help us move forward. We will get to know each other and open up emotionally in an intimate way. Additionally, we will learn how to connect to unconditional love as a higher power and as a resource to guide us through the process. Afterward, we will have our first experience with circular breathing (Rebirthing), a practice that will accompany us throughout many of our weekly meetings, deepening with each encounter. This practice serves as an incredible tool for healing emotional pain.
Week 2: The Power Of Confession, Honesty, and Truth:
The tool of confession is a powerful healing method found in many ancient spiritual traditions. In this meeting, we will deepen the sense of safety in the group and tap into our collective courage and self-love to share, in a circle of confession, honesty, and truth, the shadows we’ve been hiding within. We will expose aspects of ourselves that we are uncomfortable revealing and feeling. Through the magic of this safe space, we will finally be able to release the shame that holds us back in life, feeling tremendous relief as we realize that everyone around us still accepts and loves us just as we are.
Week 3: Connecting to The Body And Regulating The Nervous System.
Our traumas do not exist in our heads, nor are they confined to the past. They are present here and now, within the tissues and cells of our body, reflected in the state of our nervous system and daily mental and emotional struggles. If we don’t know how to listen to the signals our body gives us—that something is wrong inside and painful—and how to calm our nervous system from within, we will never truly know how to heal or live in the moment. This week, we will learn the simplest and most practical techniques for understanding the body’s messages about where it stores pain. We will also practice circular breathing together to release the pains our body carries within and begin the healing process.
Week 4: Taking Responsibility For Our Triggers and A Practical Protocol To Heal Them
This week marks the beginning of the deep work: taking responsibility for our triggers and healing them to achieve inner freedom. As long as we do not take responsibility for our triggers, we remain victims of the external world. However, when we take ownership of them and learn how to work with and heal them, we unlock powerful and transformative tools for change. In this session, we will learn how to work with our triggers, understand their origins, and heal them layer by layer until they are fully resolved and we are free inside.
Week 5: Creating Space and Gaining Perspective
When we are overwhelmed by our emotions and thoughts, it can be challenging to take a moment to breathe and see things clearly. Even during deep healing work, we may lose our clear thinking. This week, we will learn how to create space and perspective from our emotions and thoughts, allowing us to think clearly and see things differently. By learning to think, feel, and believe differently than what we’ve been conditioned to, we can discover inner peace and calm at any given moment.
Week 6: Merging: Forming A Deep Connection to Emotions
Healing for inner happiness involves a delicate dance between creating space and perspective from our thoughts and emotions, and learning to experience them fully. After learning how to create emotional space in Week 5, this week we will explore how to feel our emotions to the fullest. We will practice the art of moving between merging with our emotions to creating space and gaining perspective from them. During this week, we will deepen our circular breathing and healing practice, strengthening it so that when we work with specific emotional patterns, we know how to fully heal them, experiencing the immense relief, change, and feelings of peace and love that are on the other side of every pain.
Week 7: Free Expression and Holding Space For Ourselves and Others.
In Week 7, we will dive into the incredible practice of free expression and holding space. We will create a “Free Expression Night,” where we will learn how to express ourselves freely, allowing space for all parts of ourselves to shine, celebrating them, and letting our truth fully emerge. Whether it’s a painful emotion or an expression of joy, laughter, art, or love, the key is that our truth radiates from within. We will also learn how to hold a safe space for ourselves, which means giving ourselves a full, embracing space where we can hold our emotions with a loving presence. This practice will allow us to offer the same space to others, deepening our connections and relationships.
Week 8: Self-Compassion
Healing begins and ends with love. In this meeting, we will explore what it truly means to live with love. What does it really mean to love ourselves fully? To love all parts of ourselves, not just the parts we are comfortable with or that we show others? What does self-acceptance and self-forgiveness mean in practice? How do we live our inner truth day by day with all our heart? We will take the theory and bring it into practice, exploring how to live this truth and love with others.
Week 9: The Gift of Darkness and The Process of Death and Rebirth
As we approach the end of our course and our incredible journey, we will dive into one of the most powerful processes and practices: a journey of burial and conscious death, from which we will be reborn. In this session, we will understand why the art of living and happiness lies in our ability to die and be reborn, and the gift that darkness brings us as we break through it towards the light. We will conduct a deep spiritual shamanic ceremony of conscious death and enter a trance state, offering us the opportunity to release all the beliefs, emotional pains, blocks, and identities we have adopted in our lives that hold us back. From this great release, we will be reborn into new lives, new identities, and a new “self”—one that you will create for yourselves, living from this new place of happiness and freedom.
Week 10: Celebration of Your Soul’s Journey
Week 10 is a meeting of joy and celebration. In this session, we will connect to your soul and life’s journey. We will understand what you are here to give to the world and why you experienced the traumas you went through. We will discuss and share the lessons that your traumas were meant to teach you, and following last week’s rebirth ceremony, we will explore how you want to implement these lessons in your new life. We will learn how to live deeply from the heart, from our mission, and from our soul, bringing our uniqueness into the everyday routine of life, and seeing the magic of life with eyes of wonder and love. This is a meeting of celebration, completion, and joy. At the end of the session, we will hug in love and say goodbye until our next meeting whenever it will be, summing up a liberating, satisfying, and super fun journey.
How will our journey together look?
In this course, we will embark on a 10-week journey into exploring the root of our pain, and through it, reach the heart of unconditional happiness, love, and healing. Only by fully facing our pain and demons can we truly understand what love is, and be free inside. The journey will gradually deepen week after week, with an intimate, loving, and supportive group of up to 12 people, to ensure group intimacy and safety.

What approach and tools are used in this process?
I’ve studied various approaches, learned a lot from my own experiences, and worked with clients over the past five years, developing the practices that form the foundation of this course. Some approaches use more trauma-informed psychotherapy practices from therapy models like CI, SE and IFS, and some are more spiritually informed or in the middle such as pranayama breathwork, rebirthing and shamanic toltec rituals.
I want to come, but I’m afraid of opening up to the group. What can I do?
It’s natural to be scared, especially if you’re not used to opening up in such groups. I’ll be here to support you, and in the safe space we’ll create, you’ll soon realize that sharing and opening up isn’t as scary as you thought— it’s freeing and wonderful.
It’s ok to feel fear, the choice is up to you if you want this fear to choose for you, or if you want to give a chance for your soul to choose, even when it feels scary.
What is rebirthing and circular breathing?
Rebirthing and circular breathing are amazing healing tools through breathwork that can lead us into a trance state, allowing us to release suppressed traumas and emotions faster than usual.
Do I need to be spiritual to benefit from this?
No. Even if you don’t define yourself as spiritual, it doesn’t matter. You don’t need to believe in anything specific to join— just come with an open heart and mind.
